Astha is founded on a simple belief: children need a home, not just a place to stay. A safe, family-like environment where they are heard, supported and free to discover who they can become.
Our care model: ages 9–17, with continuity of support through ages 18–25.

To give children a safe, caring home where they can learn, explore cultures and traditions, develop their strengths and build an independent life.
Children in our care are part of the Astha family. Their home should feel like their own.
We respect every child’s existing family, identity and important relationships. Being part of Astha adds dependable people to their life; it does not erase their story.
Our name expresses trust and belief in what is possible. For Astha, hope is something we help children build through safety, dependable relationships and opportunities to grow.
Our emblem brings together a protective shelter, the letter A and a rising sun: a secure foundation for a brighter future.
Our service model connects everyday care with clinical support, education, relationships and a supported move into adulthood.
Careful matching, a consistent key-worker team, predictable routines and meaningful choices.

Our commitment is a joined-up, funded support plan with named people accountable for delivering it. Children help define success, and adults explain what they will do next.
We are keen to partner with health and social care professionals who share our commitment to children’s safety, stability and ambition.
