Professional partnerships

One child.
A team with shared purpose.

We are keen to partner with health and social care professionals, local councils, education providers, employers and community organisations to build care that lasts.

COMMISSIONERS

Care where it is needed

Help shape local provision around sufficiency needs, safe matching, transparent costs and planned transitions—not simply available beds.

HEALTH & CLINICAL

A joined-up wellbeing plan

We welcome conversations with appropriately qualified clinicians and regulated healthcare partners about assessments, treatment, consultation and continuity.

EDUCATION & COMMUNITY

Opportunity around the child

Schools, colleges, SEND specialists, music teachers, sports clubs and employers can help build education pathways and genuine participation.

What good partnership looks like.

  • Clear roles and a shared plan informed by the child’s wishes and needs.
  • Agreed funding for healthcare, interests, staffing and transitions, with no hidden costs.
  • Timely, lawful information sharing and named escalation contacts.
  • Joint problem-solving when a child’s needs change or a service is delayed.
  • Reviewable outcomes and honest decisions about what Astha can safely provide.

Designed with councils, not in isolation.

Our review of national evidence and council strategies points to the need for suitable local homes, relationship continuity and coordinated transitions. Hertfordshire’s sufficiency work and Manchester’s proposed 2027–2032 strategy are useful reference points, not existing Astha contracts or endorsements.

Before selecting a location, we would validate demand with the host authority, neighbouring commissioners, safeguarding partners and local education and health services. Geography, workforce, local risks and access to everyday life must all be considered.

Professional enquiry & referral pathway.

Start with a professional discussion with management. Residential admissions require home-specific registration, a secure assessment of needs, multidisciplinary matching, introductions and a written care and funding agreement. This website does not collect identifiable child referrals.

Clinical and regulatory boundaries.

Clinical work must be delivered by appropriately qualified professionals within their scope, with the relevant registrations and governance. We will assess any additional healthcare registration requirements before offering regulated clinical activities. Astha does not presently claim NHS, council or healthcare partnerships.
